LSCC...

So it was Zack's first taste of the geek life that lies before him as both he and I went to the LSCC on Sunday. To be fair to the little chap, he had already been up to London the day prior for a family trip and he was beginning to tire. However, he did really enjoy it, though perhaps not as much as the train journey itself where he pointed out EVERY train he saw with great aplomb! So, for me it was just as cool to meet up with several peeps at LSCC, we saw Gary Erskine (kindly gave Zack some cool goodies), Harry Markos (kindly gave Zack a comic), Simon Furman, David Hine, Lee Bradley (got a cool Spiderman sketch for Zack), Martin Fisher (Pizza hero!), Richard Emms (Overrun Postcard Hero), Mark Buckingham to name a few. Next time I may let Zack stay at home until he's a touch older and able to last the pace of a busy con. Zack's fave part (apart from the trains) was without doubt getting some cool little action figures (Ironman, R2 D2 and Luke in Snowspeeder gear)... Still, I got him to dress up as Batman which made my day. Roll on the next con!
